Movie Meltdown - Episode 155
This week we welcome our first special guest co-host to the coffee shop! Join us as we get caffeinated and have an awesome conversation with actress Jess Weixler. (Though she is quite humble about it) she was dubbed “The New Indie Queen” by The New Yorker and has starred in “The Lie”, “Peter and Vandy”, “The Big Bad Swim”, “Alexander the Last” and will (hopefully not) forever be known as “the girl with the whatsees in the....” from the infamous movie “Teeth”. Listen as we discuss acting, all-around geekiness and cheese. Yes, cheese.

Movie Meltdown - Episode 154
We are back, and the holiday party continues, as we cover a few geek activities, and “very special“ installment of the ever popular Marlena Moment. Then we watch the beloved holiday classic that is “Black Christmas“. As the Sofa Theater discussion kicks in we discuss, ‘The Bob Clark Thing’ - about a massively influential director that left his mark on cinema history. As well as Olivia Hussy, Margot Kidder, a creepy-looking Christmas tree, a fabulous fur coat and an awesome One From The Vaults memory from the movie’s star John Saxon!
All that plus the festive holiday fun that is… soulless, dead-eyed, robot carolers, It’s a Bodies Alive Christmas!, Firefly, The Muppets, I want punishment, party line, Bradley Cooper, Amy Adams, Insidious, it looked like Cher and Mickey Avalon had a baby, goldfish swimming in your hot chocolate, super slo-mo camera, How I Met Barney, yellow bastard in the attic, Battlestar Galactica, Lizzy Caplan, Psycho-influences, I’ve gotta go take a shower… everyone’s dead, American Horror Story, my teeth feel like sandpaper, calling back in time, a real world scene from a John Waters movies, it wasn’t that piano’s fault he sucked, Limitless, a Veronica Mars reunion, Gilda Radner, that is back when toys shot rockets, you drink too many damned sofa drinks, The Hot Damn Hobo, Jason Segel, Brian Posehn, which cocaine Abe?, being sober makes you afraid of pain, it’s weird how many gay guys I’ve loved in my day, a pig with no back legs, choking on Aphrodite A’s missiles, hot damn hobo ghost, Jackass 3, Party Down, is Margo Kidder living in my alley? - and our own special take on Scott Weiland's new Christmas album!

Movie Meltdown - Episode 153
Join us as we kick off our holiday party and anniversary celebration in this the 4th annual Movie Meltdown Holiday "Special".
